Note: Helped create a memorial in memory of Abraham Lincoln that was paid for completely by freed slaves. The statue was built in 1876, and Scott is reported to have been approximately 60 years of age at the time. Little external information found but there must be some historical records in Lynchburg, VA where the statue is because of local reporting on the subject.
